Vampirism and You! The cover arrives.

My first YA novel has a cover! Vamprisim and You! A Beginner's Guide to the Change is a snarky, darkly funny take on what it means for a relatively modern  and unwilling teenager from the UK to become a vampire and get shipped off to Indiana.

Louis has spent most of his life knowing that on his seventeenth birthday, he'll make the Crossing. His family has served vampires for generations, and as a reward, he gets to become one of them.

Except living with a nest full of egotistical bloodsuckers has put a serious skew on how Louis sees vampires in general, and he's convinced that they're all the same.

Until he meets Duncan, his foster-parent and guardian. A vampire who seems to be...different. Homesick Louis has a lot to deal with. Attending American high school, trying to ignore how delicious the cheerleaders smell and trying not to piss off the football team are only the beginning when another vampire comes to town.

Vamprism and You! is definitely not your typical teen-vampire novel.

The cover comes from the wonderfully patient Brandon Clay.

Vampirism and You! should be hitting cyber-shelves in mid-January.

Cheers.
